October 2024- Monthly Roundup
October has been a month of connection, community, and growth here at Safety For. We’ve put a strong focus on celebrating the people who make our team what it is, while also raising awareness for two important causes. It’s been wonderful to see the whole team come together in support, and we’re proud of what we’ve accomplished together.
We began the month by wearing green in support of World Mental Health Day. Even our office dogs got involved, showing their solidarity! This small but meaningful gesture helped open up conversations about mental health, a topic that’s especially important to us as a team. We’re committed to keeping these conversations alive and supporting mental well-being in the workplace and beyond.
Later in October, we participated in the ‘Wear It Pink’ campaign for breast cancer awareness. Not only did we wear pink, but we also rolled up our sleeves and baked some delicious treats for a heartwarming coffee and cake morning. We were thrilled to welcome fellow businesses and clients to join us as we gathered together, enjoyed great company, and raised awareness for such an important cause.
A special thanks goes to Debra Steer for organising both events! We’re so grateful to everyone who joined us and contributed—it’s your generosity and support that made both events such a success.
Our Training Courses Remain Popular
In addition to these special moments, our training room has been bustling with activity. We were delighted to host several successful training sessions, including First Aid training delivered by Steve Jenkins, and a Fire Stopping course led by Rich Nicholson. Feedback from participants has been overwhelmingly positive, and we’re excited to continue expanding our training catalogue to meet your needs.
Regular Social Updates
On the digital front, we’ve been busy on LinkedIn too! If you’ve been following us, you’ve probably noticed our regular updates on everything from business news and services to upcoming training events and legislative updates. We’re passionate about staying connected with our community and clients online, so if you haven’t already, please follow us. We’d love for you to tag us in your posts and connect with us virtually—we’re always excited to engage!
Thank you for being part of the Safety For family. We look forward to continuing this journey together as we head into November and beyond.
