  • Mark Dyche - Group Managing Director

    Mark is the group founder, who started his general safety, health and environmental career and construction experience in 1990 as site manager for Müller Dairy, when building their new factory in Shropshire. Because of his involvement with numerous working groups in the development of The Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015, Mark has been able to ensure Safety For Group are leading the way in complying with the Regulations, with demonstrable success. Mark is proud to have served in the Household Cavalry (Blues & Royals) for 12 years, on ceremonial and active service. A keen sportsman in the past with Rugby, football, scuba-diving, golf (badly), and more recently, fly fishing, amongst his favourites. Still pulling on a pair of rugby boots, once a year in the Eagles (B&R Vets team) reunion at the age of 61. Mark has been married to Elizabeth (Lizzy) for 40 years (10 of them happy), with 3 amazing children and one grandson Harry, who is Marks pride and joy. Marks favourite proverb “Work Hard – Play Harder” is one he endeavours to follow every day.

  • Liz Dyche - Group Director & HR Co-ordinator

    Liz joined her husband Mark’s growing health and safety consultancy in 2005, after 17 years as Customer Relations Manager at Muller Dairy. Over the years her skills in communication and co-ordination, along with her developing health and safety experience and qualifications, including NEBOSH General & Construction certificates and several professional memberships, made her a great asset to clients in appropriately (and pragmatically) assessing their needs, supporting them and her colleagues ensuring the companies high standards of service were met and developed. Liz has offered guidance and support to a variety of clients; from day care nurseries to construction contractors, Principal Contractors and Clients, being proactively involved in health and safety in large office environments, manufacturing company sites and also construction high rise, demolition and shopping centre developments. That’s what Liz has always enjoyed about health and safety – no two days are the same. Outside of work, Liz loves to travel with Mark; city breaks being her favourite – UK and beyond. She loves watching most sports, although rugby and football are her favourite (especially Newcastle United) and playing golf with Mark and friends.

  • Allison Mair - Finance Manager

    Allison joined Safety for in April 2015. She has since established a process driven administration team whose support allows advisors to deliver an efficient service in the timeliest and most economically viable manner possible. Her stringent financial management has helped support the business through significant economic turbulence during recent global challenges. Allison works closely with the whole team to ensure we offer our clients a reliable finance function, adhering to invoicing schedules that fit with project delivery. Like all the team she recognises the importance of meticulous communication to ensure efficient, collaborative objectives are consistently realised. Outside of work Allison takes every opportunity to enjoy her garden, her black Labradors and watching rugby with her family.

  • Laura Mort - PD & CDM Manager

    Laura has over 10 years’ experience in Health and Safety, specialising in Construction. She is a Chartered Member of IOSH, has expert knowledge in CDM 2015 and delivers the Principal Designer role for a number of Clients across the UK. As well as the PD role, Laura also helps to support Principal Contractors and Clients in the Construction industry from small contractors to multi-million pound companies. This allows a flexible and pragmatic approach to the works, whilst always remaining legally compliant. Whilst the industry can be challenging, the work Laura does is very rewarding. In addition to the Construction industry support, Laura is also an accredited CITB trainer, delivering a variety of courses to Contractors and Principal Contractors alike. In her spare time Laura enjoys spending time at the gym, including spin classes and is a keen gardener with a variety of tropical plants including her very own banana tree!

  • Lisa Gorski - SHE Manager

    Lisa joined the company in 2007 as administration support, developed the role and the business documentation and was later promoted to Office Manager. During this time, the involvement with safety documentation, sparked an interest in the subject and the company offered training and development which led to her completing NEBOSH General and NEBOSH Construction certificates as well as SMSTS, CSCS Professionally Qualified Person and a number of Construction related training courses. During her extensive time with the business, Lisa has supported a range and number of clients, colleagues and business contacts, providing a face to health and safety and helping organisations of all sectors and sizes. Lisa takes great pride in offering reassurance and building strong working relationships and offer sensible solutions, tailored to her Clients needs. Outside of work, Lisa loves adventures near and far with her family, long walks with “Kiddo” the dog and outings with friends. Mid way through a full home renovation and extension, she often feels like she comes to work for a rest.

  • Patrick Collins – Senior PD & CDM Advisor

    Having joined Safety For in 2016, Patrick has over 20 years’ experience in health and safety and environmental management in various industries covering Chemical, Oil & Gas, Local Authority, Aviation, and Construction. His primary role in the company is lead Principal Designer for pre-construction phase and CDM Advisor for the construction phase of Project Marshall – an air navigation systems and radar replacement program on behalf of the MOD at over 40 sites. Patrick’s knowledge in the environmental aspects of health and safety has proved invaluable particularly with work Safety For are undertaking with the MOD. Patrick is a Commissioned Officer and Cadet Forces Adult Volunteer (CFAV) of 30 years with the Royal Air Force Air Cadets (RAFAC) at a local squadron of Air Cadets. In his free-time, he enjoys spending time with his family, building scale model aircraft and figures, watching Formula One, amateur astronomy and a season ticket holder for the Scotland Rugby team.

  • Craig Douglas - Senior PD & CDM Advisor

    Craig is an Army veteran with over ten years’ worth of health & safety experience. He is a graduate member of IOSH and acts as Principal Designer on many projects across the country. He has worked on a diverse range of projects, from Defence Establishments, to Oil Refineries to Housing Developments. Craig is currently coordinating safety between multiple Principal Contractors on behalf of the Client and ensures a harmonious working environment is maintained. Craig is aware of the complex nature of multiple house builders occupying the same area and regards communication and cooperation a key factor in this project. Craig also works on high risk projects, including within the aviation and civil engineering industries. In his spare time Craig is an independent publisher of fiction, manages a literary website and is a published author. He is also a closet bibliophile who loves kayaking and hiking.

  • Emily Davies - CDM Advisor

    Emily joined Safety For recently after completing her NEBOSH general certificate and gaining knowledge within the Construction and Hospitality Industry. Having worked in Construction and Civils for 6 years she has developed a keen interest in Health and Safety, prior to this she has worked in hotels, bars and restaurants for 8 years working her way up to Assistant Manager and still works the occasional bar from time to time.

    Away from work Emily loves spending time outdoors walking with her cocker spaniel Lexi and challenged herself to take up running this year.

  • Lynda Plews - SHE Advisor

    Joining the Safety For team in 2021, Lynda has over 11 years experience in Health and Safety working within different types of organisations including manufacturing, housing association and Construction. Over the years, she has completed the NEBOSH General Certificate, NEBOSH Construction Certificate, NEBOSH Environmental and NEBOSH Fire Safety and Risk Management to help support the role she has provided within the organisations she has worked for. Lynda is extremely organised and has a methodical and practical approach to her work. She takes pride in every aspect of her work and is able to demonstrate this within her job role. She can provide relevant advice and support to her clients for their individual business needs which will provide them with the tools to ensure they can manage their own Health and Safety and ensure they are compliant. Outside work, Lynda loves to spend a lot of time in the countryside walking with her family and Golden Retriever.

  • Alan Lloyd - SHE Advisor

    Alan has recently joined the company as a SHE Advisor he comes from a varied Health & Safety background most recently in the rapid manufacturing, injection moulding and CNC machined parts and he has an extensive experience in training across a wide variety of Health Safety and Logistic and distribution topics, he is really looking forward to working with our customers and assisting in providing an excellent service for them. Alan holds the NEBOSH general certificate and within the last 12 months has become an Awards Mentor for RoSPA, giving him further opportunities to develop his own skills and help others. During his time away from work Alan enjoys working in his garden, serving as a local councillor and present a wide variety of music shows on a local community radio station.

  • Debbie Steer – Operations Administrator

    Debbie has been with the company for just over 12 months and has become part of the Operations and Maintenance Team. She has over 20 years within administration and comes from a military background with a father who was in the RAF and a husband who is a Veteran of the Armed Forces. She has enjoyed 4 years of living in Spain and 10 years in Germany, where she picked up both languages which is something she enjoys. Along with creating things, she has a passion for the outside and all things nature, and loves spending time with her family in the garden and growing (and eating!) her own produce

  • Chelsie Watson-Nolan – Operations Administrator

    Chelsie has recently joined the company and has become part of the Operations and Maintenance Team. Coming from the Security Industry, Chelsie was the HR, Vetting and Operations Co-Ordinator, also working in the field, Chelsie has her SIA front Line Door Supervisor License that she still uses on the odd weekend. Although Chelsie has been in the Security Industry for the past 2 years, she is looking forward to start her Career in the Health and Safety sector. Chelsie has a passion for all animals and competed for her University in the Equestrian team. She also qualified for regionals after coming first overall of 16 competitors in 4 competitions.

  • Ollie Gwyther - Training and Compliance Co-Ordinator

    Ollie joined Safety For in 2024, bringing with him knowledge and experience from a fire training provider where he played a key role in the creation and development of fire training qualifications. His background in education—spanning secondary schools, further education, and adult education—has equipped him with the skills and passion needed to create robust courses that promote safer environments for everyone. In his day-to-day role, Ollie collaborates closely with the Leadership Team to ensure that our business strategies align with our mission to deliver high-quality training products and services. His goal is to enhance the quality and reach of our training programs, ensuring they meet the highest standards and effectively promote safety in all settings. Ollie is enthusiastic about the future of Safety For. He believes that, together with the team, the company will become the go-to provider for fire training within the construction industry, offering a suite of exclusive and comprehensive qualifications. Outside of work, Ollie is a proud father to Leo and a devoted partner to his wonderful (and patient) fiancée, Martyna. After more than a decade being engaged, he hopes she’ll still marry him one day! Ollie is also a keen musician and sportsman, and he passionately supports the mighty Newport County AFC.

  • Reece Lynch - Communications & Social Media Manager

    Reece heads the Social Media and Website for Safety For, in the aim of expanding the online reach of an already successful company, and to help connect our talented team to both new and old customers across the UK.
